WHEN YOU ARRIVE
Please plan to arrive promptly at the time you were informed by the facility. After you have signed in at the reception desk and completed all of the required registration paperwork, one of our nurses will spend time with you to answer any questions you might have and help with preparations for surgery.
At New Horizon Surgical Center we strive to maintain accurate and consistent surgical schedules. Please check with a nurse or receptionist if you have questions pertaining to scheduling or any other matters. Wait times may vary.
Your nurse will escort you to a dressing area where you will be given a special gown, cap and non-slip socks. Your clothing and other personal belongings will be placed in a plastic bag by you, and placed in your assigned locker under CCTV surveillance. If you have not previously signed a consent form in your physician's office, you will be asked to do so at this time.
